Sudwerk Brewery is Switzerland's first and only Brewery to brew in the Pale Ale Tradition using an authentic Pale Ale Brewhouse. Their beers are all made by hand and are quite different to the lager and pilsner styles common to the German part of Switzerland.
During our visit, we will learn directly from the Brewer, Gerry Farrell, how the beers are made and the story behind how Sudwerk came to be. He has been brewing for over 20 years, starting in College where he grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This will be a great opportunity to see first hand how the beer is made and to hear some of Gerry's vision for independent breweries in Switzerland.
