Iren Rothenberger gives us a “show-and-tell” of how she came to appreciate the English language in the 35 years she lived in the United States

Creative writing is widely taught and practiced in the US. It opens the door to the English language, not only as a necessary means of communication but a tasty meal from which to choose the words that sound and feel right for what you want to describe, may it be your memoirs, stories for your children, experiences that affect you, or simply play with words. I have much enjoyed the extensive classes I took myself with a most fabulous teacher. I hope to inspire you with this show-and-tell of my life in America reflected in my book: …it's a Cardigan. I look forward to seeing you.
